Vivo is preparing to launch a new Y-series smartphone. The company recently launched the Y21A as a budget smartphone under $200. The next Vivo Y-series device is a 5G smartphone. The company has confirmed the launch of the Vivo Y75 5G.
Although the launch date remains unknown, the company has announced the device’s design and color options. Other details and specifications of the phone were released earlier this month. Let’s take a look at the Vivo Y75 5G specs, design and other key details revealed ahead of launch.
Vivo Y75 5G design unveiled
Vivo Y75 5G will be the new mid-range smartphone coming soon. The phone could arrive by the end of this month. The teaser poster shows that the phone will be available in two colors – black and aurora.
The image also shows that there is a triple camera on the back of the phone. It has two large cutouts on one side and the third camera sensor is located below the LED flash inside the rectangular camera module. The device has a flat bezel, which seems to be the trend of many smartphones in 2022.
Vivo has yet to confirm launch details. However, we can expect the phone to be released later this week. In terms of specifications, the phone will have a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display. At the top, there is a waterdrop notch for the front camera. The phone will also come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
On the back, the triple camera setup will feature a 50MP main sensor and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro photography. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera. The phone will have a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging via USB Type-C. It will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Vivo smartphone will run FunTouch OS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. It will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and Mali G57 GPU. Vivo will launch the device with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will also have support for 4GB of virtual RAM and a slot for expanding storage via a microSD card.
