The Dragon Age universe is being expanded with a Netflix animated series featuring elves, mages, knights, red templars and other demons.
Created by Maigrid Scott, Chris Bain, Matthew Goldman, John Epler through Red Dog Cultural House and Bioware with writers May Catt, Tim Sheridan, Mairred Scott, director Ki Yong Bae and showrunner Maigred Scott, Dragon Age Absolution is set in Tevinter. the story of Miriam, a pragmatic elf mercenary who escaped from slavery. Closed to most who know her, her heroic nature shines as she is forced to confront the nation that has ruined her life and the man at the heart of her suffering.

- Matt Mercer as Fairbanks: A seasoned rebel fighter, Fairbanks leads our heroes with his big heart and thirst for adventure, his daggers and his destructive smile.
- Ashly Burch as Quidion: This talkative Qunari mage loves explosions. Easily distracted, this generous talker can either tear down a building or cure a hangover, depending on the needs of the moment.
- Sumalee Montano as Hira: An idealistic mage, Hira hopes to reunite with Miriam as she continues her ruthless crusade against Tevinter. But a terrible secret could put them both in danger.
- Phil Lamar as Roland: Behind his seeming nonchalance, the charming Roland shows great courage. When disaster strikes and all seems lost, Roland is as tough as the blade he wields.
- Keston John as Laclone: A dwarf member of the Fortune Lords, Laclone is a rough fighter and a born brawler. He loves fame and has enough survival instincts to stay alive.
- Josh Keaton as Rezaren: From a privileged background but struck by tragedy, Rezaren sees himself as a good man in an evil world. Intelligent and charismatic, he is determined to build a better future for all the people of Tevinter at any cost.
- Zehra Fazal as Tassia: Hard-working and endowed with a strong sense of duty, Tassia turns a blind eye to anything that does not meet her moral standards. But even she will not always be able to ignore the meanness of either Tevinter or Rezaren…
