The XinaA15 jailbreak tool for A12-A15 chip devices running iOS or iPadOS 15.0-15.1.1 appears to have received another update over the weekend.
The updated release, dubbed 1.1.8.0, represents a step up from version 1.1.7.2, released almost two weeks ago and first mentioned on the @HUC_hbs Twitter account late Sunday night.
Unfortunately, there was no changelog for this release, so no one other than the jailbreak creator currently knows what this update will bring. The changelog may appear later, as is usually the case.
The XinaA15 jailbreak is currently focused on developers, which means that it is not recommended for general end users. The reasons for this range from ease of use to compatibility with user-facing add-ons.
However, many users have moved ahead with XinaA15 anyway and are especially happy to get jailbreaked again. Many jailbreak tweaks actually work well with XinaA15, but some developers are unable to test tweak compatibility on it.
We generally recommend waiting for @xina520 to personally announce the latest update before updating XinaA15 so we can at least see the changelog to see what’s going on in the latest update. But if you can’t wait, you can use the link in the @HUC_hbs tweet.
