Elden Ring: How to kill skeletons

Elden Ring is home to some of the toughest enemies you can face. The game has everything from the grotesque nobleman Godskin to annoying stuff like Miriam’s mentor. Elden Ring is also home to many smaller enemies that roam the Lands Between aimlessly. One such enemy that causes unexpected annoyance is the skeletons, and here is a quick guide on how to kill them in Elden Ring.

How to kill skeletons in Elden Ring

  • Attack the Skeleton until it appears to be dead.
  • Wait for the bones to start glowing.
  • Once you see the Skeleton’s head moving up, hit it with your favorite weapon.
  • You will know that the Skeleton is really dead if you get the runes for the kill.

Skeletons are the type of enemy that most new players encounter in their first few hours in the game. Early in the game, they can be seen roaming the dungeons and beaches of Limgrave. But the place where you will find the most of them will be in the catacombs of Deathtouched and Wyndham. If not dealt with quickly, they can group in massive numbers to overwhelm the player. Therefore, we recommend that you get rid of each of them in quick succession.
