FromSoftware set the stage for the introduction of Balanced PvP to Elden Ring last October with patch 1.07. This added a damage meter. Weapons, spells, shields and other aspects of combat can now be balanced for solo and co-op play separately from competitive multiplayer. Previously, the Japanese studio aimed to comprehensively balance weapons, skills, spells and spells.
