The news announced a DLC expansion with concept art and indicated that it is currently in development. The concept art shows a figure with long blond hair riding Torrent’s horse, looking down at what appears to be a Dying Erdtree.

While the DLC announcement tweet was rather limited and short, Elden Ring’s official Japanese site assured that “an additional report is a bit ahead.”As such, we can expect more details about the DLC over time. The Japanese site also confirmed that Shadow of the Erdtree will be released on platforms like PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam.
