As part of a long-term agreement with Marvel, three new comic book adventure games will be developed by American publisher Electronic Arts for consoles and PC.
Three Electronic Arts Marvel games will offer an original story approved by Maison des Idées. In the hands of Motive Studios and game director Olivier Proulx, the first project in development is a third-person single-player adventure game based on the Iron Man license. It has not yet been confirmed that Black Panther, the king and sacred protector of the small African nation of Wakanda, should appear in the second draft. Finally, the third project is not yet far advanced enough for rumors from some reliable insiders to go into the wild.

Laura Miele, COO of Electronic Arts, said:
We are long time fans of Marvel and its impressive leadership, so this is a great moment for our developers as well as our players and fans. We look forward to welcoming Marvel into our family of creators and we know this collaboration will bring an exceptional experience to our players. We can’t wait to see how players react when they put on the Iron Man suit and do the amazing things this superhero is known for.
Marvel enjoys collaboration with Electronic Arts
Jay Ong, Executive Vice President of Marvel Games, explains:
We strive to find the best teams to take our characters on heroic journeys like never before, and working with Electronic Arts will help us achieve this. We pride ourselves on collaborating with developers with passion and creativity, so they have the freedom to create something completely unique and truly remarkable. The Motive Studios team took on this challenge with their Iron Man video game and we can’t wait for players to learn more about it in the near future.
