With the acquisition of Aquiris and the creation of Epic Games Brasil, parent company Epic Games will be able to take advantage of the huge talent this region has to offer to gain a foothold in Latin America. Based in Porto Alegre, capital of Rio Grande do Sul state in the land of palm trees, the Aquiris development team will help create groundbreaking content and social experiences for Fortnite, the battle royale that revolutionized the genre by being one of the first successful metaverses..

Epic Games Brasil is the first Epic studio in Latin America.
