Since the launch of Krafton in 2021, BGMI esports has grown exponentially. It has been rebranded as the Indian version of PUBG Mobile and the developers have included third party IPs in their competitive landscape as well. Esports wala recently announced their own tournament called “Esportswala The Nationals”with a prize pool of Rs. 12 lakhs.
Esportswala The Nationals is a private tournament that will be played online, where spectators will be able to see their favorite teams battle it out in this third-party event. Fan-favorite teams such as soul, Godlike, X spark, XO, TSM, Hyderabad Hydras and other 12 teams have been invited to the tournament.

Here are the teams that were invited to the tournament and divided into 3 different groups. Each group has 6 teams:

However, the organizers did not reveal much information about the schedule and format. Basically, these will be league stages and finals, in which the league stage will be held in a round robin system. Taking into account previous events, 4 best teams from each group will advance to the final.

The prize pool of 12 lakhs is distributed among teams and players as shown below:
- 1st place: rub. 5 lakh
- 2nd place: rub. 2.5 lakh
- 3rd place: rub. 1.25 lakh
- 4th place: rub. 75000
- 5th place: rub. 50000
- Most Valuable Player: Rs 50,000
- Most Placement Points: Rs 50,000
- Most team finishes: Rs 50,000
- Most WWCD: Rs 25,000
- Fan Team: Rs 25,000
Esports wala recently announced their BGMI roster by registering a qualified BMPS Season 1 team called WSF (We Support Farmers). The team performed well in the BMOC Round 4 Day 3 and qualified for the first BGMI professional series in the country upon its launch.
