The launch of Overwatch 2 did not go as smoothly as Blizzard planned due to numerous issues. But at the same time, some players who use controllers just need the aim assist feature. This setting is found in several FPS video games. While PC players have the luxury of pinpointing and targeting their opponents, it’s a bit of a hassle for console players. Since OW 2 has cross-platform play, it seems unfair that console players are up against PC players. This is where aim assist can balance the gap. But does Overwatch 2 have aim assist on PC and consoles? Check out our guide to find out.
Does Overwatch 2 have aim assist? (PC/Console)
The answer to this question depends on the platform you support. If you are using a controller on supported consoles, the answer to this question is Yes. For console players, this feature will be enabled by default. On the other hand, there is no aim assist feature for PC players. Unfortunately, PC players cannot enable this feature even if they are connected to a controller.

Aim assist not working during crossplay in Overwatch 2
The main reason for this issue is due to you joining a PC lobby or playing cross play with PC players or friends. Aim assist is disabled automatically if you are connected to a friend playing on PC. Therefore, avoid crossplay in the PC lobby or with PC players to use the aim assist feature. You need to turn off the crossplay feature in settings to use aim assist.
That’s it for aim assist in Overwatch 2.
