Realme recently launched the GT2 series in China. The company is now gearing up to make its top-tier flagship smartphones available worldwide. Realme GT2 and GT2 Pro will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 on February 28th. The company has confirmed the launch of both of its flagship smartphones.
It is expected that the devices will have the same set of characteristics as the Chinese version. Pricing information for two of Realme’s flagship smartphones has leaked online ahead of the launch. Let’s take a look at the Realme GT2 series price, specifications and other leaked details.
Realme GT2 series price
Realme is announcing the GT2 series on February 28 at MWC 2022. Ahead of the launch, pricing information for both devices has been leaked. According to leaker Sudhanshu, the GT2 Pro will be released with one 12GB + 256GB storage option. Its price will be 789 euros (approximately 66,500 rupees). The phone is said to be released in Paper White, Paper Green, and Steel Black colors.
On the other hand, the vanilla GT2 will launch with two RAM and storage options. The base model will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Its price will be 539 euros. There is also a 12GB + 256GB variant that can be launched for 589 euros. The phone will also be released in the same three colors – Paper White, Paper Green and Steel Black. Leaked pricing information should be treated with a grain of salt.
Specifications and features
The GT2 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging. The phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution. It uses an LTPO panel that allows you to adaptively switch the refresh rate. There is a triple camera on the back. The phone is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, a 50MP 150-degree ultra wide-angle camera, and a 2MP microscope camera sensor.
The Vanilla GT 2 has the same 50MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The phone has a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. It features a 6.62-inch AMOLED FHD+ E4 display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both devices run Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 out of the box. Realme is expected to release flagship smartphones in India soon.
