FIFA 22 Bans Over 30,000 FUT Players For Using Glitch, Some Players Banned For 1000 Days Instead Of 7

There has been a lot of talk about the EA Sports FIFA franchise over the past couple of weeks, but this time it’s due to EA having suspended over 30,000 FUT accounts. It looks like some players were able to take advantage of the “no loss”bug, which essentially gave them a perfect 20-0 record and all the bonuses and rewards that come with it, and EA is unhappy with players taking advantage of it unfairly.

The developers temporarily blocked more than 30,000 accounts that took advantage of this error and imposed a 7-day ban on them. These players will not be able to compete in the FUT Champions Finals this weekend, which is always an important event for FUT players. While most players were given the usual 7-day ban, it looks like some were given a 1,000-day ban instead.

EA Bans Over 30,000 FIFA Ultimate Team Players for Using Glitch

EA has indeed detailed a number of actions that will eventually result in bans and suspensions in their State of Play, and exploitation of this particular glitch falls under it. Players were reportedly able to simply abandon a FUT match if they lost it and the game didn’t record losing statistics.

Players could do this by simply going to their console’s home screen during a match and simply waiting for the match to time out. This essentially allowed players to not register loss stats on their FIFA Ultimate Team account, resulting in a great 20-0 statistic. Although the players have been given a 7-day ban, they will retain their rewards for their exploit. Many have complained that a simple 7-day ban is not severe enough for an offense, while others have argued that it is too severe for a 1,000-day ban to be seemingly wrong.
