Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the sequel to the FF7 remake.

Japanese publisher Square Enix presents Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on video.

Tetsuya Nomura, Creative Director of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Trilogy, said, “Rebirth is designed to allow people to enjoy this new game whether they know the original game or not. In fact, new players might even enjoy starting their Final Fantasy 7 journey with FF7 Rebirth. Cloud and his friends are embarking on a new journey, and I believe that the scenes they will see after they leave Midgar will give players a new and original experience. I’m looking forward to sharing with you my intention to name the first title “Remake”and the second title “Rebirth”.

Over time, I hope to be able to reveal the title of the third episode and the ultimate goal of this journey. Development on FF7 Rebirth has gone at a brisk pace since we adopted the new development structure. A title of this magnitude, in which everything is interconnected even before the start of production, is indeed a rarity. In fact, part of the development has already started on the third game. I started development myself and am working on completing the trilogy. We will strive to bring this title to the fans with the same enthusiasm until we reach the finish line.

Yoshinori Kitase, Producer of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Trilogy and Director of Final Fantasy 7 added, “We have officially announced that FF7 Rebirth will be released next winter, approximately three years after the release of FF7 Remake in April 2020. Three years may seem like a long time for all the fans who are looking forward to the next game, but we want to provide the best possible experience and put everyone at ease. Development is proceeding at a surprisingly fast pace for an HD game of this magnitude. Directing the second part of the trilogy comes with its own set of challenges, but there are plenty of classic films in the world of cinema that feature amazing twists and deeper explorations of their characters. Often these second installments become fan favorites. In the same vein
