Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 has launched with many new features and some changes.
With summer approaching, a new season of Fortnite kicked off this Sunday. After Epic Games has drastically changed the way people can play over the past few months, Season 3 marks the return of Fortnite to, so to speak, the comfort zone. Without further ado, here’s what’s new.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 kicks off
For starters, Ballers, those hamster ball-like vehicles that were discontinued by Epic Games in Season X, are back with some changes. Now they can work on water, and the battery limits their autonomy. If that’s not your style, know that this season 3 also features forest mounts, boars and wolves. And you can shoot while you ride them.

Epic Games has also made some changes to the island. A new area called Reality Falls appears with jumping mushrooms, purple trees, and caves full of loot. It also houses the Tree of Reality, which drops seeds for players to plant. And the seedlings will remain in place from part to part. If you pay attention to your tree, you will get special loot. Among the new weapons added by Epic this season is the Marksman Rifle, which, as the name suggests, is very effective at long range.
As always, there is also a new battle pass. This notably offers a Darth Vader skin as well as an Obi-Wan cosmetic item. And that’s not all for Disney content, as later this season, Epic will give players the chance to win an Indiana Jones skin. You will have approximately three months to earn everything this Battle Pass has to offer.
