Fortnite: Epic Games Launches MEGA, New Battle Royale Season

The atmosphere of Japanese cyberpunk invites itself to Fortnite with MEGA.

Subtitled MEGA, this new season of Fortnite adds many new places to explore on Battle Royale Island from US publisher Epic Games. The most notable of these is MEGA City, a futuristic Tokyo-style metropolis with lots of neon lights and various buildings. Scattered throughout the rails allow players to move quickly. Other new attractions are Steamy Springs, Drift Ridge, and Kenjutsu Crossing.

The MEGA Battle Pass includes brand new skins like Renzo the Destroyer’s fashionable outfit, savant Thunder streetwear, sleek and casual Highwire, and original Fortnite cosmetics. Later this season fans of Battle Royale and the anime series will be able to unlock Eren Jaeger, the famous protagonist of Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan manga.

Epic Games invites players to get around MEGA City on a two-seat Rogue Bike or a four-seat Nitro Drifter. But streets are not the only way to get around, as in addition to rails, players can ride on enemy buildings.
