After Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Horizon 4, Hot Wheels from Mattel are moving to Forza Horizon 5.
Mike Brown, creative director at Playground Games, announces that the Hot Wheels expansion for Forza Horizon 5 will let you discover Horizon Hot Wheels Park in the clouds overlooking Mexico: “Explore a new open world to enjoy a new driving experience. gravity-defying magnetic tracks, ice, channels, or rumbling tracks. We’ve also added four new biomes, namely the Canyon of the Giants, the Ice Cauldron, where the tundra melts on contact with molten lava, the Forest Falls, which takes you over the canopy and waterfalls, and finally the incredible Nexus Skyline, where the Festival Horizon is suspended in the middle intertwining Hot Wheels tracks. You’ll be able to complete missions, unlock special events, and celebrate Hot Wheels history in a new five-part Horizon Campaign.
Now this is a car from the future. Inspired by a fighter jet and a dragon, the @Hot_Wheels Bad to the Blade is capable of over 230mph and once defied gravity by driving upside down on an inverted track! Sounds like the perfect contender for #FH5HotWheels pic.twitter.com/P98ccpKMt0
The Hot Wheels adventure will be about designing, building and sharing over 80 track elements: create and share anything you want with the Hot Wheels Creation Kit. The new elements available in the Hot Wheels Creativity Kit can be easily connected with the touch of a button. Once you create your dream creation for Hot Wheels, be sure to share it so the whole community can check it out.”
