Forza Motorsport: next-generation racing spectacle

Designed for total immersion, Forza Motorsport will be faster than ever.

Chris Esaki, Creative Director of Turn 10 Studios, describes Forza Motorsport as the most technically advanced racing game ever made: “Physics accuracy, car and layout beauty, day evolution, advanced vehicle damage and real-time Ray Tracing takes a real leap forward on generation in terms of immersion. Our dynamic time-of-day evolution system is fundamental, bringing our tracks to life with more detail and, like the weather, will be available on all tracks. Changing the graph changes the ambient temperature, which in turn affects the surface temperature of the tracks. The latter will affect the grip of your car, as will the wear on your tires. The core driving experience of the all-new #ForzaMotorsport has been built from the ground up to showcase the Xbox Series X|S consoles, and our new blog post goes into detail on how it’s the most technically advanced racing game ever made: https : //t.co/nk0l0ypj59 pic.twitter.com/p4ypQES95D

Forza Motorsport will shine with the next generation: “Clean driving has been completely improved to take advantage of the new Xbox, which includes 48 times more accurate physics simulation. Listening to your feedback, we have added new features such as fuel management and tire wear management, multiple tire compounds, and a very advanced vehicle modification system that will allow you to create the perfect vehicle. It all comes to life in a booth where advanced materials and shading combine with ray tracing to showcase the incredible detail of gold ribbons, anodized aluminum and carbon fiber. Ray tracing especially does wonders for engines and their intricate reflections. Vehicle damage is displayed in great detail, down to the slightest scratch on the body. You will see, on which side the damage occurred, paint chips on the most exposed edges, abrasion of the wheels and accumulation of dust. Damage is part of the reality of motor racing and has been faithfully reproduced.”
