The sequel to the slime farming game is out, and it comes with some exciting new features and updates. The latest part of the series, you guessed it, contains a lot of new slimes. One of them is Flutter Slimes, gorgeous orange slimes that love to fly. So, in this guide, we will discuss where to find Flutter Slimes in Slime Rancher 2.
How to find flutter slimes in Slime Rancher 2
Flutter Slimes are found in the southern part of Starlight Strand. Now, in order to get to Starshore, you need to first unlock it by feeding a bunch of Largo Cotton Slimes located in the Rainbow Fields. You need to feed these giant cotton slugs with any vegetables until they explode, revealing the portal button. This portal will give you access to the Starlight Strand region.
Star Coast is now a relatively vast region that takes time to comb through. To make transit easier, we recommend purchasing a jetpack to get to the south quickly. You can get the Jetpack by purchasing enough Radiant Ore in the Ember Valley region.
Once you unlock the jetpack, fly south of the pink area in Starlight Strand. Here you will find Flutter Slimes flying freely around the area. You can spot the Flutter Slime with their distinctive orange hue, pair of butterfly wings and antennae. These flutterbees prefer moondew nectar in their food. You can find this nectar at night, on the giant blue flowers spawning in the same region. Once you have the nectar, you can feed it to Flutter Slimes to get Flutter Plorts.
