All Dead Space veterans may already know about the Peng Trophy. For those who don’t know, Peng is nothing but a small figurine of a woman that can be found in every installment in the franchise. Interestingly, this treasure can only be found once per playthrough. Throughout the gameplay, you could see various posters promoting the Peng Treasure. But none of these posters say anything about Pan’s whereabouts. If you want to get the Peng Trophy in Dead Space Remake, then this guide is all you need. Read this guide to the end to find out its location.
The location of Peng’s treasure in the Dead Space remake
Peng’s Treasure can only be found after you reach Chapter 11 – Alternative Solutions. That’s because it’s located somewhere in the cargo bay area at Cargo-Tram Control Hangar, USG Ishimura. This area is unlocked eventually during the Alternative Solutions quest.
Next, once you’ve entered the cargo hold, take the elevator down. As soon as you reach down, immediately turn left. To the left of the elevator, you will find crates scattered as shown in the image above. You must now use the Kinesis module to lift these drawers and locate the locker behind them.
After moving the crates, you will find a locker with a Peng Treasure sticker. Interact with the locker to open it and finally get the Peng Treasure in Dead Space Remake. Once you pick it up, you will unlock the “There’s Always a Peng!”achievement.
You can leave the Pan statue as a collectible in your Dead Space inventory. Or you can sell it to get 30,000 credits. In addition, you can use it to obtain power nodes and upgrade your equipment and weapons.
