Eric Kripke, executive producer of Gen V along with Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, said:

There’s definitely synergy, and we’re doing our best to create a universe where some of the issues and storylines from Season 3 carry over into the first Generation V season. this season, and some of the things that are happening at this school are a reaction to Season 3 of The Boys. There’s Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) and everything else, as well as new storylines that unfold in this season of the spin-off series that we need to pick up for season 4 of the main series.

No release date for Gen V

Gen V doesn’t have an air date yet, just like season 4 of The Boys. You can currently find the first three seasons of The Boys streaming, as well as the spin-off animated series The Boys Presents: Diabolical, on Amazon Prime Video.
