If there’s one thing that the jailbreak community always responds well to, it’s one jailbreak tweak that does it all in such a way that it becomes unnecessary to install multiple small tweaks to do essentially the same thing.
Genesis 3 by iOS developer itzNebbs is a new all-in-one tweak designed to support most palera1n devices running iOS 15.0-15.7.2.
As you may have guessed from the title, the Genesis 3 is the successor to the Genesis 2 setup we showed you back in 2020. The original setup supported older firmware, so an update was necessary to keep up with the times we live in.
According to the developer, Genesis 3 doesn’t yet support as many features as Genesis 2 had, but he plans to release regular updates to the tweak that will bring it in line with the previous version.
Once you’ve installed Genesis 3 in its current form, you’ll find a new settings panel in the Settings app where you can tweak settings for various aspects of the iOS operating system:
Some of the various things you can customize with the Genesis 3 include:
- Animations
- home screen
- Lock screen
- Power menu
- status bar
We will discuss the options available for each section in more detail below:
Animations
In the animation settings panel, users can configure the following settings:
- Enable or disable the pop-up icon animation that appears when the device is unlocked.

status bar
On the status bar settings panel, users can configure the following options:
- Enable or disable custom media text
- Enter the text string to be displayed in the media text box.
- Hide all navigation links that usually appear after switching from one application to another.
- Enable or disable the new iOS 16 battery level style.
- Hide the charging bolt from the battery icon when connected to a power source
The developer includes a comprehensive toggle switch in the main settings panel where users can enable or disable all customization on demand. There, users will also find an “Apply”button that can be used to save any changes you make.
While the Genesis 3 isn’t quite as powerful as its predecessor yet, we expect it to be soon. It’s also one of the most reliable universal tweaks we’ve come across for jailbroken iOS 15.0-15.7.2 devices, making it an attractive option.
If you’d like to try the Genesis 3 for yourself, you can purchase it for $2.99 from the Havoc repository through your favorite package management app. The tweak currently only supports palera1n devices running iOS 15.0-15.7.2, so it’s worth noting that XinaA15 jailbreak users can’t use Genesis 3; neither can iOS 16 users.
