Genshin Impact is an action RPG where you play as a Traveler in the world of Tevyet and meet other characters along the way and welcome them into your party. The Genshin 3.0 update added the Sumeru region along with many POIs and quests. Among the many challenges, there is a challenge in which you will need to collect 4 scrolls. This test is an ever-changing parchment, the hidden purpose of the study. In this guide, I will show you how to complete the Ever-Changing Parchment challenge and its puzzles in Genshin Impact.
How to Complete the Ever-Changing Parchment Challenge in Genshin Impact
The Ever-Changing Parchment or Puzzle is a series of challenges that take place in the Devantak Mountains, Ardravi Valley, and Sumeru in Genshin Impact. There are 4 challenges, each of which rewards the player with a parchment written by the adventurer. 4 parchments you can get:
- Unsealed parchment
- Guiding Parchment
- Whispering parchment
- Mysterious parchment
You can earn many rewards when you get each parchment. Here’s how you can get each of them in Genshin Impact.
Unsealed Parchment – part 1 of the ever-changing parchment challenge in Genshin Impact
- To get the Unsealed Parchment, head to the Statute of the Seven – Dendro in Ardravi Valley, Sumeru.
- From there, go southeast to the Giant Golem’s Hand.
- At the base of the hand, near the back of the hand, you will see the Trial of Time.
- This is a time trial to collect 8 anemo particles in 100 seconds.
- You can easily complete it by using the Four Leaf Seal Flowers to get to the top of the Golem Hand.
- Once you get to the top, you will complete the challenge if completed within the time limit and receive a Common Chest along with an unsealed parchment.
- The first part of the Ever-Changing Parchment challenge has been completed.
The Guiding Parchment – Part 2 of the Ever-Changing Parchment
- To get the Guiding Parchment, you will need to jump and slide northeast along the cliff from the regular chest you just collected for the Unsealed Parchment.
- During the flight, you will see the Time Trial.
- This is a combat challenge in which you have to defeat all your opponents in 60 seconds.
- Once you’ve defeated all your opponents, you’ll complete the challenge if completed within the time limit and receive a wonderful chest along with a guiding parchment.
- The second part of the Ever-Changing Parchment challenge has been completed.
Whispering parchment – part 3 test of parchment
- To get the Whispering Parchment, you will have to go fishing on Mount Devantaka.
- Jump north from the Wonderful Chest you just collected to find a Guiding Parchment.
- As you slide you will see the Fisherman’s Pond.
- Approach it and start fishing.
- For this challenge, you will need a sugar dew lure.
- To unlock the Sugar Dew Bait, travel to Port Oremos and speak with Lumelat.
- You can buy the Sugardew Bait Recipe from her for 3 Medak Fish.
- Now go to the workbench in the Academy, Sumeru City and craft Sugardew Lure.
- After getting the bait, go to the fishing pond and start catching fish.
- Do this until you get the Whispering Parchment.
- If you run out of fish in the pond, reload the area or wait for the fish to respawn.
- This will give you the Whispering Parchment.
- The third part of the Ever-Changing Parchment challenge has been completed.
The Mysterious Parchment – Part 4 of the Parchment Trial
- When you have 3 parchments, you can get the last parchment, the Mysterious Parchment.
- To get it, you need to find the underground teleport waypoint in Ardravi Valley, Sumeru.
- It is located southwest of Mount Devantaka, slightly away from the Giant Golem Hand.
- You can get there by going west from Fisherman’s Pond and entering the cave system.
- From the teleport waypoint, jump and head northwest.
- You will find a tent with 4 unlit torches.
- If you look at the arrangement of the previous parchments, you will realize that the torches are placed in exactly the same way as the other parchments.
- So, light each torch on top of the rocky platform counterclockwise with an arsonist character like Dilyuk or Yanfei.
- After you light them up, you will complete the puzzle and get the Luxury Chest along with the Mysterious Parchment.
- The fourth part of the Ever-Changing Parchment Challenge has been completed.
