Genshin Impact is a cross-platform adventure RPG. Also, in the recent version 2.8 update, the developers introduced an event known as Summertime Odyssey. Genshin Impact Summertime Odyssey Event Guide
The summer odyssey began on July 15, but will end on August 24. Here’s everything you need to know about the biggest event of the summer in Genshin Impact:
- Enable this event by completing conversations with Katherine in the city of Mondstadt. Also, chat with Fishl in the square and head to Angel’s Share to trigger the cutscene of the Summer Odyssey event.
- Surfpiercer and Phantom Realm are two parts of this event. Not to mention that you have to complete tasks in order to receive rewards.
- To unlock this event, you need to have an adventure rank of 32 or higher. Also, you had to complete the Archon quest “Chapter II: Prologue – Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves. In addition to this, you must also have completed “Astrolabos Chapter: Act I – Beyond the Stars of this World from Mona’s Story Quest”.
- During the Surfpiercer part, a new Waverider Challenge will unlock daily for the first three days. Plus, complete quests to earn rewards like Primogems, Hero’s Wit, and Mystic Enhancement Ore.
- In the Phantom World, complete the initial research to unlock a direct strike in which you fight enemies in waves. Phantom worlds consist of four cards:
- Misty Hills, Misty Valleys – Unlock after completing Summer Odyssey II. Get rewards like 60x Primogems, 80000x Mora, 4x Hero’s Witness, 8x Mystic Enhancement Ore and 200x Prismatic Debris (600 cap) upon completion.
- The Islands’ Stirring Strings – Unlocked after completing Summer Odyssey III. Get rewards like 60x Primogems, 4x Hero’s Wits, 80000x Mora, 8x Mystic Enhancement Ore, and 200x Prismatic Shard (1200 cap) upon completion.
- Immernachtreich Keep – Unlock it after completing Summertime Odyssey: IV. Get rewards like 60x Primogems, 4x Hero’s Wit, 80000x Mora, 8x Mystic Enhancement Ore, and 200x Prismatic Shard (1800 cap) upon completion.
- Temple of the Stars – Unlock it after completing Summer Odyssey: V. Get rewards like 60x Primogems, 4x Hero’s Wits, 80000x Pestilence, 8x Mysterious Enhancement Ore, and 200x Prismatic Shard (2400 cap) upon completion.
- Some challenges in the Phantom World will earn you Prismatic Fragments. Collect them to invite the Prinzessin der Verurteilung (Electro). In addition, Crown of Insight, Character Leveling Materials, and Talent Leveling Materials can be obtained from the Event Store in exchange for Prismatic Fragments.
