While you are heading to Surt’s Forge during the Summoning quest, you will encounter a Flame Phantom. The location of this battle is somewhere in the Muspelheim area. While there are different sections to this boss fight, the way to win remains the same. Of all the weapons that Kratos has, for this we recommend Draupnir’s Spear. Along with that, use Wrath or Valor for your Spartan Rage.

- Although it has an amorphous body, the Fire Phantom’s only weakness is its purple core. You will have to fill up the gray stun bar as the health bar will not decrease on its own.
- Since you can throw as many spears as you want, Draupnir’s Spear is perfect for maintaining distance and damaging him.
- This fight should be fought at a medium distance, as approaching him can be fatal for you. Once you aim your spear correctly, you will defeat the Flame Phantom in God of War Ragnarok.
- Although his red circle attacks are quite dangerous, you can dodge them if you have time. At the same time, his yellow circle attack, reminiscent of a twisting tail, is easy to parry. It also shoots waves and you need to use a shield until they all get through.
- Once you fill the stun bar, the boss will disappear and three purple rune springs will appear on the battlefield. You can destroy them with your spear and the battle will resume. Flame Phantom’s health will now decrease.
