All paths leading anywhere in this game are filled with adventurous obstacles waiting for you to clear them. How to remove blue vines in GoW Ragnarok
To clear your way, you can burn blue vines or thorny branches with the Blades of Chaos. Kratos’ blades of Chaos contain the most powerful flames that can reduce the most durable metals to ash. All you have to do is press the left button on your controller’s D-pad to equip the Blades of Chaos. Alternatively, press and hold L2 to target the blue vines blocking your path in GoW Ragnarok. Press R2 when you are ready to burn the thorny branches.
In the later parts of the game, you will encounter blurry vines that are far beyond the reach of Blades of Chaos. In such cases, you can use Sigil Arrows and make them explode so that they burn out. To make this happen, simply shoot 3 Sigil Arrows close together so they are chained to each other. You will know that the job is done correctly if the middle one glows brighter. For those who don’t know, Sigil Area when connected together covers a certain area in purple. You can use the Blades of Chaos to touch this area, causing the chain to detonate which will remove the blue vines next to it in GoW Ragnarok.
