Gotham Knights releases October 21, 2022 and there is no Batman in this Batman game. Supposedly Batman is dead in the game and people are wondering how he died. That being said, in this guide, we will show you if he is really dead and the supposed cause of his death in the game.
How Batman dies in Gotham Knights
After Batman’s death, Gotham’s defense is in the hands of Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Robin. While this game finally brings these characters into the night on its own, Batman’s supposed death seems ironic.
A caped crusader who in the comics manages to outsmart the entire Justice League on many occasions, accidental death is hard to stomach. But for the sake of Gotham Knights, the Gotham Gazette claims that Batman dies in a horrific crash as the entire Wayne Manor collapses.
Batman is one of the best superheroes in the DC Universe who relies on his skills and intelligence. That’s why most people think it’s just a ploy or a knight’s ploy. Simply put, Batman is not completely dead in Gotham Knights as there is no such mention of his body or any proper evidence to back it up.
Please note that this is not a spoiler in any form, as we will only know the reality of this situation once the game is fully released.
Should Batman stay dead?
While we still don’t know about his supposed death, fans are wondering if he should stay dead. While many would be delighted to see Batman’s revival in Gotham Knights, others argue that he’ll get everyone’s attention.
I’m a Batman fan myself and it’s hard for me to see him outside of this game, but maybe that’s for the best. It’s been a long time since characters like Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood and Robin stepped out of the shadows. The return of Batman would only eclipse their importance in the game.
