The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Gotham Knights have been cancelled.
In an effort to provide gamers with the best possible experience, Warner Bros Games Montreal has decided to focus entirely on the new generation of Gotham Knights, a spin-off of the Batman Arkham license focused on the new superhero guard. Namely Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin. After the death of the Dark Knight, these characters became the new defenders of Gotham City. Their mission is to solve the mysteries that bind the darkest pages of the city’s history, as well as defeat the notorious villains.
Gotham Knights will release exclusively on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC starting October 25th. In the Deluxe Edition, players will be able to get the Visionary Pack downloadable content with exclusive gear, cosmetics, or even character skins inspired by the animated series Batman la Relève, while in the Collector’s Edition, players will be able to collect an augmented reality pin, a 16-page book, an exclusive map of Gotham, and an action figure Batman family. Please note that the Kustom 233 Bat Motorcycle Skin, based on the car’s first appearance in DC Detective Comics #233, will be offered as a pre-order bonus.
Gameplay with Nightwing and the Red Hood in Gotham Knights
Game Director Jeff Ellenor introduces a never-before-seen gameplay sequence in which the characters Nightwing and the Red Hood bring justice to Gotham City while investigating the mysterious Court of Owls: “Players will experience the distinct fighting style of these two heroes. Nightwing uses a glider and acrobatic fighting style, while Red Hood uses his dual firearms and powerful jumping ability to move around Gotham. ”
