So, if you’re back or still reading, here’s what’s going on with Mjolnir. Trud, Thor’s daughter, inherited his hammer after his death. Yes, Thor dies in this game, and no Kratos is the one who kills him. Thor dies at the hands of his own father, who pierces him with his spear. In the video, we see how he kills Thor and justifies himself before Trud that it was Kratos and Atreus who forced him to kill Thor.
Interestingly, it is in this scene that we see Odin taking Mjolnir and attacking Trud as she tries to get it back. But don’t worry, the hammer won’t stay with Odin for long. After Kratos and Atreus defeat Odin, Mjolnir gets a new owner.
