iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro early reviews are ready! The Pro devices get a lot of praise, especially for the 48MP camera, which can shoot images in RAW for incredible editing possibilities. Dynamic Island still leaves much to be desired. While the Dynamic Island timer and music trick looks cute, let’s see what third-party developers can do to improve the experience. Regardless, we can all agree that marketing wallpapers are fire.
iPhone 14 gradient wallpaper
The iPhone 14 comes with a stunning wallpaper that showcases the Dynamic Island. I was a bit shocked by the aggressive shifting. In previous years, Apple has taken great care to ensure that their promotional wallpapers don’t focus on the “notch”, instead opting for images that almost obscure the hardware.
The new iPhone 14 promotional images directly draw attention to Dynamic Island, using vibrant color gradients to showcase the tablet’s cut-out screen.
Below @ AR72014 created gradients inspired by Apple’s official design. In the following downloads, gradient wallpapers are missing the circular curved lines of the original Apple images. I really like these inspired versions because they simplify the overall design of the image while still using a smooth gradient to make the Dynamic Island stand out.
Below, @jianoliu has created similar wallpaper designs for the iPhone 14. While AR72014 has kept a similar layout to the layout, jianoliu’s upload takes the color bars and twists them at a 45 degree angle. The color bar also stretches the length of the image instead of leaving a dark space in the middle.
