OnePlus may launch the OnePlus 10 series sooner than expected. According to previous reports, the Chinese smartphone giant will likely launch its next flagship series in January or February 2022. This is earlier than the usual refresh cycle when the company announces its new flagship in March or April. The move was reportedly taken to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, which is rumored to launch next February. OnePlus 10 Pro could debut first in China. The next OnePlus flagship will debut in China in January or February 2022, according to a new leak. Tipster Jambore hasn’t given an exact launch date for the OnePlus 10 Pro in China. He also hinted that the global launch will take place in March or April 2022. The global launch schedule is rumored to follow the typical OnePlus update cycle. Interestingly, the vanilla OnePlus 10 is not mentioned. We can expect the standard flagship model to launch alongside the Pro model.

Details of the Pro OnePlus flagship have been leaked in the past. According to the new leaked OnePlus 10 Pro designers from OnLeaks, the device will have a square-shaped camera module on the back. It will contain a triple camera and an LED flash inside. The phone will feature a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout in the top left corner of the screen.

The Pro OnePlus smartphone is expected to feature the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC, also known as Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It will also come with a 5000mAh battery with 65W/125W fast charging. More importantly, OnePlus could debut on a device with a unified OS that it is currently developing with Oppo. Official details on the device are expected to be announced around January 2022.
