Polyphony Digital releases update 1.11 for Gran Turismo 7.
Japanese studio Polyphony Digital continues to work on Gran Turismo 7 with the release of the first major update, which brings many fixes, rebalances and bigger rewards to get the best cars from the biggest manufacturers faster.
World schemes
- Increased the number of rewards for events in the second half of the World Circuit.
- New racing events have been added to World Circuit. New Events: World Touring Car 600 Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise (clockwise), World Touring Car 700 24 Hours of Le Mans Racing Circuit and World Touring Car 800 Sardegna Road Track A
- Adjusted rewards for Arcade Races and Custom Races.
Track experience
- Rewards are now given for completing all courses in Gold or Bronze. If you have already received these results, go to the sector selection screen and exit using the “Exit”button to receive your reward.
Lobby/Sport Mode
- Increased the number of rewards in the lobby and daily races.
- Fixed an issue where spectating while registering for a race in the lobby would prevent you from switching to the CCTV.
- The Nations Cup and Constructors’ Championship have been changed to display the helmet miniature for the specific championship.
- When Gym Mode is set to “Training/Endurance Race”, the finish time has been adjusted when the course setting is set to “Time Limit”.
- Changed camera movements before starting races in Daily Races when the start method is set to Formation.
Purpose
- Added “Human Comedy”to missions containing hour-long endurance races. The Human Comedy will become playable when the player reaches Collector Level 23. Each Endurance playthrough can earn up to 1.2 million credits. per event
- Race information such as starting grid, number of laps or time limit, start method, etc. are now displayed in the mission quick menu
- Top entries for limited-time events and friend ranking records are now saved and displayed in a ranking/lap count format.
- Leaderboards have been reset for the following timed events.
- Gone with the Wind High Speed Ring 30 min.
- The Sun Also Rises – Le Mans, 24 min.
- The Sun Also Rises – Bathurst Group 3 Battle
Already existing best results will display only “Rating”. As soon as an equal or better record is set, it will be saved in the “Rating/Number of Laps”format. For Friend Rankings, if a Bronze or Best score is set, it will be retained even if the score is below the Best score.

- Increased the maximum limit for earned in-game credits to 100 million Cr.
- New “invitations”received subsequently will be valid for 30 days instead of 14 days.

- Mazda RX-7 GT-X (FC) ’90: Corrected the position and shape of the roll cage installed in “GT Auto”.

Livery Editor
- Fixed livery display issues for the following vehicles. If the car you are currently using has this issue, it will be fixed when you go to [GT Auto] -> [Car Customization] -> [Save Style].

Car physics simulation
- Improved jump landing physics, mostly on dirt roads.
- Fixed an issue where the vehicle speed value displayed on other players’ speedometers in online races would sometimes differ from the vehicle’s actual speed.
- Fixed an issue where the tail light would not turn off during certain operations after adjusting the muffler on the 2009 Toyota Prius G and 11 Toyota Aqua S.
Vehicle settings
- Changed Anti-Lag System setting from ON/OFF to 3 settings, OFF/Weak/Strong.
- Fixed an issue where if you open “Car Settings”after selecting a part in the tuning shop, but cancel it without purchasing it, the name of the created tuning sheet is erased and the settings are reset.
Race
- Fixed an issue that caused time penalties to be incorrectly issued when taking short or consecutive strikes.
- Fixed an issue where a fine was still given for crossing the white line in Goodwood.
- Adjusted initial pit stop position for 3 oval Daytona International Speedway.
Custom Races
- Changed so that Balance of Performance (BoP) can be enabled/disabled when the player’s vehicles are Gr.1, Gr.2, Gr.3, Gr.4 and Gr.B.
Rival vehicles (AI)
- Fixed an issue where rival cars that switched to wet tires in wet races after a pit stop had slow acceleration when exiting the pits.
- In road racing, enforce measures for some cars starting earlier or later at standing start due to network issues.
Graphic arts
- Improved image quality of smoke in race photos.
- Fixed a bug that caused debris when the view from the cockpit fell inside the car.
- Fixed graphical rendering of smoke when viewed through car windows.
Replays
- Until now, the control menu would appear when using any button on the controller, but this has been changed so that it will now only appear when using the confirm and cancel buttons.
His
- Music now plays in surround sound when the audio output mode is set to 7.1 channel surround sound.
- On PlayStation 4, this playback applies when the connected device is compatible with 5.1ch or 7.1ch audio and the Sound Output Mode in Options is set to 7.1 Surround.

Settings
- Changed so that [Show Demo Ghost] option inside [Ghost Settings] is only visible in licenses and Circuit Experience.
- Added [Temporary exposure adjustment] to quick menu settings. [Timing Exposure Adjustment] allows you to temporarily adjust the screen brightness during racing. Exiting the quick menu returns the game to its original exposure settings.
Car collection
- Added 3 new functions for cursor movement
- The △ button will now move the cursor to your current vehicle.
- The L2 or R2 button will move the cursor to the next vehicle already purchased.
- The □ button will move the cursor to vehicles marked “NEW”.
GT-Auto
- Changed the brightness of the replacement bulbs in the [GT Auto] > [Vehicle Customization] > [Other Parts] > [Bulb] menu.
Trophy
- Fixed “Wheely Good Fun”trophy text to “Bought 10 sets of wheels in GT AUTO”.
Title screen
- Separate the thumbnail and headline text of the news so that they are displayed separately.
Steering controllers
- Assign functions to additional buttons that become available when installing replacement wheels, such as the Fanatec Club Sport Formula V2 steering wheel on the Fanatec GT DD Pro.
- Fanatec Podium Advanced Paddle Module Right/Left Upper Paddle Module assigned to turn signals.
- Assigned left/right rocker switch for switching and changing MFD functions
- Assigned analog stick for head rotation. Additional button assignment is only available when a compatible steering wheel is connected.
- When installing a replacement steering wheel such as the Fanatec ClubSport Steering Wheel Formula V2 on the Fanatec CSL Elite and Fanatec Podium, the “Change MFD”function was changed and assigned to the left and right rocker switches, so that the left rocker switch is assigned to the “Toggle MFD”function.»
