Rockstar Games reveals the improvements and new features coming to GTA 5 on next-gen consoles.
The next generation is finally out for GTA 5: “These new versions will feature new graphics modes with improved textures and draw distance, HDR and ray tracing options, and resolutions up to 4K at 60fps. They will also offer technological advancements unique to the latest generation of consoles, including faster loading times, immersive 3D audio, as well as other platform features such as improved haptic feedback and more. PS4 and Xbox One players who want to continue their adventure on next-gen consoles will be able to carry over their story mode progress as well as their current characters and progress from multiplayer mode. ”
American studio Rockstar Games clarifies that the new independent version of GTA Online will be released simultaneously with the launch of the next generation version of GTA 5 and will be available for free for the first three months for PS5 players.
New in GTA 5 Online
- Skip the story mode prologue and enter the multiplayer mode with a brand new tutorial.
- New players will enter the career editor with direct access to one of four illegal activities of their choice: Biker, White Collar, Nightclub Boss, or Arms Dealing Expert.
- Each career choice offers a decent amount of GTA$ to choose from, the property, powerful vehicle, and firepower you need to start a business.
- Former players will also have the option to restart their character at any time and use the career editor.

GTA 5 will be released on March 15 on PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
