There are seven elements in Honkai Star Rail, and each one has a unique form of attack damage. Approximately three separate elements are weak to different foes. How do the elements of Honkai Star Rail function?
The seven elements that make up Honkai Star Rail are Physical, Fire, Ice, Lightning, Wind, Quantum, and Imaginary. Each character has a particular element they are related to, similar to Genshin Impact. In Honkai Star Rail, these elements decide which character is strong or weak versus particular sorts of elemental attacks.
The characters won’t immediately sustain physical harm, though. Along with the usual HP bar, they also have a Toughness bar. You must first empty the Toughness meter in order to do damage and take down the foes. Now, specific assaults against specific characters will cause the gauge to empty faster. The elements will cause a status effect with DoT once you’ve exhausted them (Damage over Time).
Impacts of the Honkai Star Rail Elements Described
The following status effects will be applied by the elements after the Toughness bar is broken:
- Physical: Inflicts additional physical damage and causes the Bleed status effect.
- Fire: Inflicts additional fire damage and causes the Burn status effect.
- Ice: Stuns the enemy and causes the Freeze status effect.
- Lightning: Inflicts additional lightning damage and causes the Shock status effect.
- Wind: Inflicts additional wind damage and causes the Shear status effect.
- Quantum: Delays enemy’s turn and causes Entanglement status effect.
- Imaginary: Delays the enemy’s turn and reduces their speed with the Imprisonment status effect.
