A US government spokesman also explained that air traffic control, airport intercom and other vital operations were unaffected, but travelers looking for any information were inevitably hampered by the site’s absence, according to ABC News. A spokesperson for LAX said that “there were no internal systems compromised and there were no outages.”

According to the cybersecurity analyst, there is no evidence that the Russian government was involved in this incident.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and the Transportation Security Administration are monitoring the situation closely, according to CNN. CISA clarified that in any case, there is no reason to worry about possible interruptions in work.
