Halo Infinite: Certain Affinity Will Support 343 Industries To Monitor Content

A certain affinity gets stronger with a new recruit to help Halo Infinite have more followers.

By helping Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios’ 343 Industries complete development of Halo Infinite while delays piled up due to an overly complex site, Certain Affinity will continue to help improve the sequel to the acclaimed FPS. Back in January, news site Windows Central reported that it had received word that Certain Affinity might be developing a new game mode for Halo Infinite, which could be Battle Royale or something completely different. Note that the founder of the American studio based in Austin, Texas, Max Hoberman is simply the former head of the multiplayer modes of Halo 2 and Halo 3.

Other rumors also pointed to a collaboration between Microsoft and Certain Affinity on a joint game (Project Suerte) reminiscent of Capcom’s Monster Hunter license.

Close partnership between 343 Industries and Certain Affinity

Microsoft’s decision to give Certain Affinity additional tasks to develop Halo Infinite is not surprising, given their long-standing relationship and the difficulties 343 Industries has experienced in releasing new content. A member of the Halo Infinite development team recently admitted that the community has run out of patience due to lack of activity and communication with the studio.
