Andrew Witts is no longer in charge of Halo Infinite multiplayer.
If 343 Industries’ single-player campaign for Halo Infinite is far from a success, the same can’t be said for its multi-player multiplayer, mostly on PC (via Steam), while Microsoft is pushing Xbox console exclusivity through its subscription service.. Originally produced and directed by Andrew Witts, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer will lose its best element as the former Rainbow Six Siege gameplay designer has decided to leave Xbox subsidiary Game Studios to open a new chapter in his career in the video game industry. Now in the fold of Sony, while remaining independent, Bungie could draw on his talents.
Halo Infinite multiplayer launched last December without Forge, the popular game mode that allows players to create their own maps and game types. However, a further delay was confirmed when 343 Industries extended the first season of Halo Infinite, which was originally scheduled to end early this year, until May next year. 343 Industries recently announced a new delay to this famous mode and revealed that a small group of community creators are already testing it to list certain bugs for improvement.
Halo Infinite multiplayer sequel progresses slowly
The first details of the second season of Halo Infinite, which will be called Lone Wolves, will be revealed later this year. Please note that the co-op single player campaign mode has also been delayed.
