iQOO will soon launch its new flagship smartphones in China. The company will launch the iQOO 9 series on January 5th. Ahead of the launch, some key details of premium smartphones have been revealed online. The latest leak comes from a poster uploaded to Weibo (via Abhishek Yadav). The poster reveals the main features of both iQOO smartphones. While iQOO has confirmed fast charging and display details, the poster confirms the camera setup of both devices. iQOO 9 Series Specifications
The iQOO 9 series will consist of two devices, the iQOO 9 and the Pro version. The two flagship smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Ahead of the launch, a Weibo post also confirms that the Pro model will feature a 50MP triple camera setup. It will have a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 9 series will feature a 150-degree ultra-wide camera sensor and a Samsung GN5 main sensor.
The poster also shows that the Pro model has a 16MP lens, which can be a portrait sensor or a telephoto lens. The vanilla model, on the other hand, has a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP tertiary sensor. For selfies, both models will have a 16 MP front camera.
Under the hood, both phones will support 120W fast charging and come with a 4,700mAh battery. The Pro model will also support 50W wireless charging. The devices will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
While the vanilla model will have a standard Full HD+, AMOLED E5 display, the Pro model will feature a 2K AMOLED panel. The more premium device is said to feature a 6.78-inch LTPO curved display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The vanilla model will have a flat screen. Both devices will launch on January 5th. Therefore, it is not long to wait for prices and other characteristics.
