How to craft potions in Hogwarts Legacy
You will learn how to make potions by attending Potions classes after completing the Herbology Lesson quest in Hogwarts Legacy. To do this, you need to complete the Tomes and Troubles quest. Since both quests are part of the main campaign, you can’t skip them. After you complete the Herbology Lesson quest, head to the Potions Station to learn how to make potions. This Potions class quest taught by Professor Sharp revolves around brewing or making a Wiggenweald Potion.
As you progress through this quest and lesson, you will be taught how to grind and add ingredients for potions. Once you have added all the ingredients, stir the cauldron to brew the Wiggenweald Potion. While this potion was especially easy to brew, you’ll have to collect the ingredients for it in the future. At Professor Sharp’s request, you need to brew the Edurus Potion by gathering the ingredients in his office. But before you do that, Garret will ask you to steal the Fwooper Feather.
After completing the quest, you will be able to brew or create potions at the potion station. You can find this station in the Potions classroom in the Hogwarts Library Annex. You can quickly get to this place so that you can immediately go there. In addition, you can also place potions in the Room of Requirement. To do this, you can purchase the Potion Station spell from the Tomes and Scrolls shop.

You can find and obtain most of the potion ingredients scattered throughout the wizarding world at Hogwarts Legacy.
