Honkai 5-Star Character Rerolling Guide: Star Rail
The steps for rerolling characters in Honkai Star Rail are listed below.
- Create a fresh account with a fresh email address.
- Continue until Trailblaze Level 5, where you will unlock the Warp skill.
- Your Star Rail Passes can be used in full at the Departure Warp.
- Repeat as often as necessary to obtain the desired 5-Star character.
One of the banners has a 20% draw cost reduction during Honkai Star Rail’s initial weeks of operation, which translates to eight Star Rail Passes rather than 10.
You’ll have just enough Passes for 50 pulls, which ensures a single 5-star character, by the time you complete the introductory part with Kafka and Silver Wolf and finally acquire the ability to Warp.
What isn’t assured is which one you’ll get, and there’s no way to force the issue other than to reroll. It’s a difficult prospect, to be honest. As much as we’d like to say otherwise, there is no better method to reroll your Warp pulls, so you’ll need to decide on the character you want in advance.
The Honkai Star Rail Characters to Reroll for
The following three 5-star characters are our current top picks from those that are still available:
- Welt, who specializes in debuffs, is currently the only Imaginary damage dealer in the game.
- Himeko is arguably the most adaptable DPS currently available, and damage from the Fire element is in high demand.
- Bronya is a buff master, and her Wind element is also one of the more useful ones during the campaign.
Acquiring Clara isn’t a bad idea either because her counterattack-focused gameplay matches well with March 7th’s ability to build shields, or really any support-style character who can keep Clara topped off.
