Even if only for the riches, returning to Jarilo-VI and Backwater Pass is worthwhile. We discovered that accessing treasure boxes is typically very easy because they are simply out in the open. Finding all 13 chests, especially if you’re a completionist like us, could be more difficult than collecting all the loot in the Administrative District.
We understand how discouraging it might be to put in your best effort and yet miss a collectible or some loot even after spending several hours in one area of the map. This straightforward tutorial in Honkai: Star Rail gives you the locations of all 13 Backwater Pass treasure chests, so don’t allow it happen to you.
All Backwater Pass Treasure Chest Locations in Honkai: Star Rail
- Basic Treasure 1: right in the middle of the map (face the Space Anchor and turn right; the chest is right up the stairs)
- Bountiful Treasure 1: Turn away from the center Space Anchor and enter the right corridor; the chest is behind the gate.
- Basic Treasure 2: Continue along any of the passageways in the center of the map; the chest is in the left corner.
- Basic Treasure 3: the area of the map just beneath the Space Anchor
- Basic Treasure 4: behind the metal gate in the octagonal space to the left of the bottom Space Anchor.
- Bountiful Treasure 2: The chest won’t show up on the map unless you explore the Automaton Bumblebee in the vicinity immediately from the lower Space Anchor
- Precious Treasure: You can find it in the lower-right corner of the map after completing the Formidable Foe Challenge
- Basic Treasure 5: in the narrow hallway with a dead end to the left of the previous Precious Treasure
- Basic Treasure 6: next to the Space Anchor in the upper left corner of the map, in the left tunnel, behind the gate
- Basic Treasure 7: in the dead-end corridor that can be reached by ascending the steps to the right of the top Space Anchor, turning right, and passing through the gate
- Bountiful Treasure 2: after completing the other Formidable Foe Challenge, you can enter the northernmost corridor
- Bountiful Treasure 3 and 4: You must first speak with a young girl and solve her Fool’s Box puzzles in the central region of the map, behind the gate where you obtained Basic Treasure 1.
- Warp Trotter: Win the battle and get your awards at the lower right corner of the central, closed portion of the map (which you cannot access during the main plot)
