By completing the “Camera work in the Depths” side mission in Zelda: TOTK, you can unlock the Camera. You must complete the storyline quests until you arrive at the first village, Lookout Landing, in order to do it. When you arrive, proceed to the Northern Gate to find Josha and Robbie. They will seek for your assistance while discussing their findings in the Depths with you.

Josha will instruct you to assist Robbie by leaving the southern gate of the Lookout Landing immediately. Robbie will enable the Camera feature on your Purah Pad when you assist him with his research outside the Chasm in Depths.

Be sure that you have obtained the Paraglider ability and have enough Brightbloom seeds before beginning the Camera task in the Depths in TK. In order to complete this side mission, you must locate Robbie, who has ventured farther than the Depths.

To unlock the camera in Zelda TOTK, simply follow these instructions:

  • Go to the Hyrule Field Chasm region and enter the big hole first.
  • Talk to Ponnick, who is standing by the campfire, as soon as you arrive; he will inform you that Robbie is missing.
  • Then proceed to the Nisoij Lightroot, as instructed by Ponnick.
  • Go go to another nearby campfire. Watch out for the dangerous Chasm corruption.
  • From there, move west on the map and continue to use the Brightbloom seeds to make it through the night.
  • To locate the Iayusus Lightroot, where Robbie is, keep going straight. Below are the precise coordinates to quickly locate the location:
  • -0786, 0433, 00469
  • When you get here, you can see a campfire near the Lightroot’s edge from a distance.
  • Robbie can be seen standing close to the campfire if you head that way.
  • Then, connect with Robbie and speak with him so he can show you how to utilize a camera.
  • To finish the Camera job in the Depths quest, take a picture of the statue and then proceed to Josha.
