Holotactics and The Odd Pair in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
If you wish to unlock Holotactics, you must locate Tulli and Bhima, the Odd Pair of NPCs. Just after finishing the Forest Array main quest, one of the customers at Pyloon’s Saloon, Moran, will spread a rumor about them to you.
You should next proceed to the Boiling Bluff, which is located after the Untamed Downs area. The two are very close to the fast travel point there, but you’ll need to kill a Mogu (a.k.a., a Forest Wampa) to give them some peace of mind. After you speak with them, they’ll gladly make their way to Pyloon’s Saloon.
Basic Holotactics Techniques
The Star Wars Jedi: Survival Holotactics minigame will then become available. On the second floor of the cantina, talk to Tulli and Bhima to find out how to get there. Here are some crucial details to think about:
- Other NPCs that have migrated to Rambler’s Reach Outpost can be fought against. They are typically discovered through completing rumors and side tasks or while visiting Koboh’s locales.
- Enemies that you’ve defeated and scanned make up your units. So, if you see a prompt, don’t forget to use the BD-1 to scan enemies.
- Each unit has a unique cost in Battle Points (BP). However, each round’s unused BP will carry over to the following one.
The units in an auto-battler minigame will move and behave in accordance with their duties and typical assaults. Shield Troopers, for instance, will charge into the action while Rocket Troopers and Heavy Assault Troopers would remain in the background to support with ranged fire. Even some Roller Mines will simply advance straight ahead before detonating.
The goal is to select the best units to combat the other side. A certain prize is obtained by eliminating a character.
