Huawei has officially launched its new Nova 8 series smartphone, dubbed Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G, in China. As the name suggests, the Nova 8 SE is a 4G device from Huawei with a 6.5-inch OLED display. The device is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710A processor under the hood.

The price of Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G in China is 2099 yuan. The device is available for purchase in China from today. The smartphone is available in four colors: black, white, silver and blue.

The Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ 1080 x 2400 pixel OLED display. The display panel has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 403 PPI pixel density, and DCI-P3 color gamut. For security purposes, the device is also equipped with a built-in fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an eight-core Kirin 710A chipset. The device comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage is limited to 128GB as the phone does not support microSD cards. In terms of software, the Nova 8 SE 4G runs HarmonyOS 2 out of the box.
The smartphone is equipped with four cameras on the back, including a 64 MP main camera. Added to the 64MP sensor is an 8MP super wide-angle lens and a pair of 2MP macro and depth cameras.
