Cyberpunk 2077 is a video game that’s been talked about a lot. Not necessarily for good reasons when it was launched, that’s for sure. But since then, a lot of work has been done on this very interesting title. Both in terms of content and numerous bug fixes and optimizations that were absolutely necessary. Today, fans are looking forward to the first major DLC. And it should be very interesting!
Idris Elba will appear in Cyberpunk 2077 in 2023
So to say, the first major addition for Cyberpunk 2077, with the exception of many patches already proposed, will appear during 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Phantom Liberty is a spy thriller that also introduces a new character. It’s about FIA agent Solomon Reed, played by none other than actor Idris Elba. The DLC also introduces new missions and a new area of Night City. All for the “impossible mission of espionage and survival,”according to the developers of CD Projekt Red.
Phantom Liberty will be the first in a series of paid DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077, but no one knows how much they will cost.
CD Projekt Red has big plans for the license
Cyberpunk 2077 was released in December 2020 and was met with a fairly well-deserved deluge of reviews due to numerous bugs and general incompletion from both players and critics. CD Projekt Red has released several patches for their game and things have stabilized and improved a lot over time. Players were able to discover all the fun that can be in the rhythm of Night City.
Idris Elba is joining the very popular American actor Keanu Reeves in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, and this is certainly not the last we hear about this license. Indeed, there is already a fantastic anime based on the game released by Netflix, and CD Projekt Red is already working on a sequel dedicated to their game, currently codenamed “Orion”.
