IK iRig Stream Mic Pro, the all-in-one microphone for musicians and content creators. Control your audio like a pro, wherever you are, with a wide selection of sources and outputs.
IK Multimedia has released the iRig stream Mic Pro, conceived and designed to be more versatile than Blue and others. It combines a multi-channel microphone with a 24-bit 96 kHz audio interface for iOS, Android, Mac and PC. This allows creators to perform a wide range of operations from a smartphone or tablet, or easily connect to a media player, keyboard, or other device.

The company promises “clear, clear and detailed sound” thanks to two microphone capsules that allow you to choose from cardioid, figure-of-eight, omnidirectional or stereo. 24-bit 96kHz converters provide a high quality output that you can test directly through the headphone output.
As for the audio interface, you can connect devices such as turntables, decks or keyboards directly using the 3.5mm audio input. With the mixer control, you can mix the sound recorded through the headphone output.
This microphone is also equipped with the company’s Loopback+ feature, which not only allows you to add music from your smartphone or other device, but also routes the microphone signal to a third-party application to add reverb, equalizer or noise reduction. From there, you can send a signal to an app like TikTok, making it easy to output “to apps that don’t normally allow you to process audio or add background music,”as IR Multimedia explains in its press release.

Parameters can be set from a single control panel, and different levels can be monitored using LED indicators. The set is available in stereo or multi-channel, and comes with cables for iPhone, iPad, Android, and Mac/PC. The device is powered by its host and is MiFi certified.
All these features are reflected in its price. If Blue Yeti costs one hundred dollars and there are many alternatives below that price, iRig Stream Mic Pro costs 170 euros. Which is probably cheaper than the microphone and interface purchased separately. The device comes with several free apps, including iRig Recorder 3 LE for mobile devices, as well as MixBox CES (iPad) and MixBox SE (Mac/PC). Already available for 170 euros on the IK Multimedia website and in select stores.
