Infinix has silently released a new phone as part of its Hot lineup, the Infinix Hot 12i in Nigeria. The all-new Infinix Hot 12i is an entry-level device with very basic hardware. The phone offers a large display and a triple rear camera setup. Other highlights of the device include a 5000mAh battery and a MediaTek Helio processor. The Hot 12i was launched in two configurations – 2GB + 64GB and 3GB + 64GB. The 2GB + 64GB variant of the device costs 61,800 New Zealand pesos (about $147). Whereas, the 3GB AM variant costs NZ$67,000 (about $160).

The Infinix Hot 12i offers a 6.6-inch HD+ TFT display with a resolution of 720×1612 pixels, 480 nits peak brightness and a waterdrop notch.
At the heart of the Hot 12i is a MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core processor with an integrated PowerVR GPU. The system on a chip has up to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It boots Android 11 with XOS 7.6 skin on top.
The Hot 12i offers a triple rear camera and LED flash. The main camera of the phone includes a 13-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture. Accompanied by two additional sensors, but their functionality and resolution are not disclosed. for selfies and video calls, the device uses an 8-megapixel front camera.
The Hot 12i is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. It has a micro-USB charging port, a 3.5mm audio port, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, and DTS sound.
The Hot 12i comes in four color options: Racing Black, Horizon Blue, Haze Green and Champagne Gold. Its dimensions are 164.80 × 76.40 × 8.75 mm and it weighs 190 grams. In terms of connectivity, it offers dual SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth and GPS.
