iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura will arrive on October 24th. Scene Manager is finally available to everyone.
Fall is often a pretty busy time of year for the apple brand. An opportunity for the American giant to release many new products as well as new major versions of its operating systems. Users of the Apple ecosystem have been eagerly awaiting new versions of iPadOS and macOS. Now they are dated.
iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura will arrive on October 24th.
Finally, soon you will be able to get your hands on iPadOS 16. This Monday, October 24, the version will be released to the public. New features in this new OS include support for Apple’s Stage Manager multitasking feature, which should make it easier to manage multiple apps on your iPad. This feature will also be coming to macOS Ventura, which will launch on the same day.
iPadOS 16 will be available at the same time as the new iPad Pro, equipped with the M2 chip and compatible with Wi-Fi 6E. It will also be available on a significantly redesigned (and more expensive) version of the standard iPad. To install this new version of iPadOS, you’ll need a fifth-generation iPad or iPad mini, or any third-generation iPad Pro or iPad Air.
Stage Manager is finally available to everyone
From what we’ve been able to see in iPadOS 16, Apple manages to perfectly pair great hardware with the best software. The new iPad also features a redesigned Magic Keyboard Folio – iPadOS 16 will help make Apple’s tablet a much better laptop alternative for some users. As for macOS Ventura, the update is larger than last year, although Stage Manager will certainly be a controversial feature. Personally, I liked my experience with Stage Manager, especially since it is very easy to activate and deactivate at will, if necessary.
