As we head (pun intended) towards September, the iPhone 15 rumors are starting to solidify. A recent hypothesis suggests some form factor changes to the side rails with more rounded edges combined with flat sides. Experts are also beginning to agree on expected colorways, especially for the Pro line. This iPhone 15 concept wallpaper contains some of those comments.

Of course, until Tim Cook hits the stage or appears in one of Apple’s new product launch videos, we won’t know the colorways or designs. Recent comments have pegged the new design as either an orange-bronze or perhaps a deep red, almost maroon. Keeping up with the burgundy rumor, Pantone’s Color of the Year is “Viva Magenta “, which may lend some credibility to the claim given some overlap between the iPhone colors and Pantone’s choice.
A regularly publicized artist, iDB, @AR72014 often creates concept wallpapers for upcoming iOS releases. Personally, I like his wallpapers more than all the standard Apple wallpapers, and I would like them to pick up his ideas. The following images are a combination of two things: his concept of future wallpaper design and suggested color schemes.
In my opinion, these designs are taken from the watchOS Pride Woven watch faces. These string orchestras remind me of this language. The simple design gives enough space for the OLED screen to display real colors despite being quite dark.
