iQOO introduced a new U-series smartphone in China. The company has launched the iQOO U5x as its new budget 4G smartphone in the country. In terms of design, the smartphone is very similar to Vivo T1 5G and iQOO Z6 5G. On the back panel is a rectangular camera module. The phone also has a waterdrop notch at the top of the display. iQOO U5x Price
iQOO launched U5x in two storage options in China. The base model has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Its price is 849 yuan. There is also a variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. This storage option costs 1,049 yuan. The phone is available in two color options – Polar Blue and Star Black.
At the moment, there is no information about the launch of U5x outside of China.
Specifications and features
The U5x comes with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch on top for the front camera. It has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The chin is slightly thicker compared to other bezels, resulting in an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. Being a budget smartphone, the phone has a standard display with a refresh rate of 60Hz.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is possible to expand the storage using the microSD card slot.
On the back is a rectangular camera module that houses a dual camera setup. The phone has a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The LED flash is located inside the camera module. For selfies and video calls, the phone’s waterdrop notch houses an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
