In God of War Ragnarok, there is a way to travel to other game worlds through the Mysterious Gate. The Yggdrasil tree is said to have each realm with its own roots and branches, and the tree is present in the Realm Between the Realms. Gates will allow you to quickly move between worlds. Many players get stuck while traveling between worlds because the exit door doesn’t appear in God of War Ragnarok. Here is everything you can do to fix this error.

- Reload the checkpoint (may take a few tries)
- Close the game and restart it.
- Uninstall and reinstall the game (keep reading to find out how to save your save file)
The first thing you should do is restart the last checkpoint. Pause the game and click the Restart Checkpoint button under Options.
Once you have loaded the checkpoint, check if you can move freely between worlds. But if that doesn’t work for you, close the game and restart again.
The last option is to uninstall the game and reinstall it. To make sure your save file is safe, use the PS plus service to sync your save data to the cloud. If you don’t have it, unfortunately you will have to start a new playthrough.
If you’re a PS Plus subscriber, you can save your progress to the cloud (one of the benefits) and download it again after a fresh reinstall. To load a save, go to the “Load”menu item in the “Options”section and go to the “PS4 System”tab. This works for PS5 and PS4.

As per the comment, if the background download hasn’t completed yet, this download issue may occur. When you check your notifications, you can see more background download information. When you complete the download, there is a chance that an exit door will appear and a software lock between worlds will be fixed in God of War Ragnarok. This is probably why a complete uninstall and reinstall fixes it, because all necessary downloads complete.
